Charolette's B-day at the Botanicals(Maxi's friend) May 30th

Max and Talia were taken by Michy to the Botanical Gardens in Edgbaston to explore the gardens and go on a Bug Hunt. The sun shone and the kids ran crazy around the gardens. Maxi was an avid hunter, the elusive blue butterfly was the only one that escaped Maxi's watchful eye. He wore his green vest to match his green thumb.
My name is Inigo Montoya you killed my father prepare to die!(Princess Bride if you have to ask.) Some people say 4 years old is too young for tattoos and swords but Michelle is a modern mother and she says let kids be kids. Everything was good and Maxi drove us home...(JOKING)Dancing is a strong suit for T-T but her feet appear to be stuck to the floor!

The kids have a better social life than most people we know.

B.D.'s Pre B-Day drinks at the Plough May 27th

B.D and Michy were joined by thier friends John and Anne Ellis, VGT and Adam, Matt and Laurie, Roy, Sam and Debbie and Alan. We had pizzas, burgers, beer and wine. It had been a while since we had all been together. Work and life have been so hectic it was nice to let our hair down. The Plough is the new local for AMP Towers(Our offices on the high street's nick name.)
Next year will be the big 40 for the B-man! So just a little bit less hair?! Is that possible?
Sorry if you could not join us but we had a beverage or two in our thoughts of you.

Toby's B-day in the Sunshine in Bournville Garden

We walked over to Maxi's and Talia's friends house to celebrate Toby's birthday. It was a great BBQ and Dan and Katie ccoked lots of food. The kids ran through the sprinkler and played in the nearly 85 degree heat. Yes that is right England and 85 degrees is not an oxymoron. Talia much to Papa's dismay was quick to remove her top and frolic in garden in front of the other kids.
Katie and Michy are two of four ladies from Maxi's old school that go out and have girl's nights out. Dan and Nick and B.D. plan to follow suit very soon. Michy's not pictured because she was on the other side of the camera!

Toby's 2nd birthday - what a party

The finish off our weekend of glorious weather and visiting, we went to friends' for Toby's 2nd birthday party.  As the sun was out, there was a lot of time spent in water:  the paddling pool, a 6 foot octopus spraying water from its mouth, and an uncontrollable flower spraying water everywhere!  A great time was had by all, including the adults who could easily relax and have a nice glass of wine while the kiddos ran around!!

Fun with the Fowlers

Saturday night our family stayed over with the Fowlers at their beautiful home in Worcester.  In addition to the lovely Indian meal, we also walked along the waterfront and splashed in the fountains!  The weather was spectacular all weekend, and Worcester was a great place to enjoy it!

Coffee with Talia's Madrina and Padrino

Saturday morning we spent a lovely morning with Mono Matt and Tia Laurie at Starbucks.  It was lovely to catch up with them and the kids thoroughly enjoyed all the attention.

Our potatoes

Max and I planted potatoes, broccoli, strawberries and lettuce this year.  The lettuce does not seem to be doing very well at all, but the potatoes are growing like weeds....much like my little 4 year old!!

Mike Pagan's 40th in Leamington Spa

Michy and B.D. enjoyed a themed b-day party for one of our friends. It was a Blazing Saddles, Rocky Horror, or Animal House costume party. Michelle was dressed as Magenta from RHPS and B.D. went as the Gov from Blazing Saddles.
There was lots of dancing, chilli and fun. Michelle loved having to live up to the part of Magenta and B.D. was defintely living up to the part of the Gov.
The nights finale was something Mike wanted to do for his whole life "Shaving Cream fight!"
Maxi was not to be out done posing as an early Gene Simmons from Kiss pre-makeup of course.
