Fun in the Sun in St Kitt's

We just returned from a week in sunny St Kitts, a beautiful island in the West Indies. The flight was great both ways: Talia slept on the way there (trying to get over a stomach bug) and Max slept for 1.5 hours on the way back (which is a huge improvement as he NEVER sleeps on the plane).

We were lucky enough to be joined by B.D.'s parents for the week, so the kiddos had a great time splashing around in the pool with the Abuelos.

Max had some exciting adventures: his first bee sting, his first attempt at snorkling (albeit in the pool), and even talking into the microphone at the closing dinner when asked by the host what he did during the week "Well, I watched my papa go snorkling" he answered in the most grown-up voice I'd ever heard from a 3 year old!!

Talia really enjoyed the pool too, which was a relief as it turns out she doesn't really like to be too warm. She continues to roll over every once in a while, but gets quite a lot of momentum across the bed by arching her back and scooting herself backwards.

Enjoy the pictures. xo Daltons4

thank you for the great pictures of your beautiful family..love to see that sun, since it snowed again today, maybe 7 inches in Anchorage...I haven't been to St. Kitts, but I want to go!!! NOW!

Oh, wow, these pictures are wonderful and I'm with Joyce on how nice it is to see the sun (no snow in Soldotna today, but we are hearing lots of rumbling from Mt. Redoubt). I'll try to ignore the 2 feet of snow in the front yard and dream of better days in St. Kitts. (Oh and Michelle, we went to Anchorage over the weekend and I finally concur...Anchorage is indeed ugly). It must be time to move. X0

How long was the flight over? That's amazing that Max slept, as he didn't sleep almost the entire 9 hours when we flew to Seattle!! :)
